WATCHING WAITING & DREAMING FOR OBAMA!
Yo BUNNIES!
I can't believe I'm baaaaaack (from the Dubya Gang's "Dance of Death", I guess. His Apocalypso Tango almost did us all in.. and it ain't over when it's over). Happily, I hope, we've got some new stuff fo ya and some truly crazy happenings just around the bendin' end.
1. OBAMA— a verrrry limited edition of prints and some of my stash of artist's proofs, at an easy size 20"x14." This is to get us all revved up--with some of the $ going to Obama's campaign and the rest to our guerrilla war chest...you know, round about midnight, before the election...hmmm.
2. Peeps have been chirping about a smaller, nifty version of the WATCHING WAITING DREAMING triptych--like, w/all three of our guys on one sheet. Well, IT'S HERE! We just fired up a special edition of 20. Each is 10 inches high by 20 inches. Back in the day, I'd have called this our "New York Apartment Special". Can't fit three big silk screens on your 300 year old brick wall? Here's the nano version to hang near your work station or give to a friend who could use a toke, some positive inspiration.
3. A "Save The Date" quickie: I'm having a big exhibit of more than 100 original paintings & drawings at Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica. Opening party is Saturday, Oct.18th, 2008, 6pm-10pm, Live band, free booze, munchies and too much art. We're gathering original paintings from everywhere--the first time they've all been in the same place at the same time--plus 7 big DECADE paintings, and even stuff that isn't just about nasty old politics. Please save the date! You're all welcome. Bring any and everyone. It's free, of course.
