Yo BUNS! I'm sorry--this should be a mail list special, but the list is down for a coupla daze--we've got a goofy event for y'all on the southern left coast: A CAT SHOW! Robbie's secret cat drawings are all gathering at a fancy Santa Monica restaurant, Michael's, 1147 Third Street in Santa Monica, 90403. The opening--free martinis and hors d'ouvres (delicious little bits of used food)--will be tomorrow, Thursday, June 9th, 6-8pm. You're ALL invited. Nine charcoal on paper cat portraits and the new print triptych of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and John Lennon (KISS THE SKY STIR IT UP COME TOGETHER) will be in the house, er, upstairs at the restaurant; great parking next door. Just for fun. The show runs June 9-Sept 9, so there's plenty 'o'time to see the furballz, but the party is tomorrow evening. Boom Boom herself will be there, drinks in hands. the Debster'll be swangin with her designer peeps. The Lalaland Bunnies'll be there. Dress is west side casual. Robbie will be wearing his Nat Nast original bowling shirt (well, that's what it looks like), thanks to his tour Dresser, the great Frank McKevitt. The silver, multi-zippered Belstaff motorcycle TOUR jacket is semi-retired--at least til Miami U. in January (but tanks fer dat, Frankie!). it's the CATS we're tawkin about. Homer Simpson's cats'll be chillin on da walls (we're very proud to have them join us)--Sebastian, his hip, cantankerous old King of Cats, sez, "You lookin at me?" We certainly hope so!
