It's greal gold leaf--glittery. It'll be in the house! But more importantly, the great JERRY QUICKLEY is droppin some slam poetry bombs at Boomie's joint (11306 Venice Blvd www.overtones.org) on Wednesday nite, Sept 17th, 8pm-- called "You should see the shit I saw in Baghdad" or something like that, subtitled, "Geroge Bush eat a pile of shit". Has a nice ring to it, either way. JERRY IS THE BEST SLAM POET I'VE EVER HEARD (he's also a mighty man). And he'll have special guests and music behind him!
